I’m going to post my thoughts here. “Shitty philosophy” seems like the best description of what I do. I’m an amateur philosopher, in the sense that I do it for the love of it. I search for the border between religion and science.

I’m an atheist, in the sense that I don’t literally believe the contents of any religious text.

I was bought up under the Church of England. I’ve been baptised but that’s it.

I’m a white middle-aged guy who grew up in the country in South West England, went to University in London and then moved to the Flemish part of Belgium in 2010.

I’m a believer in the scientific process, but that doesn’t mean I believe everything scientists say. The scientific process I believe in is the humble search to make sense of the universe.
